Production Manager (6 Month Contract)

Studio Treble is growing, and we’re looking to hire a Production Manager for a period of 6 months to work across our profile of projects.

The Role

We're looking for a Production Manager to work across our portfolio of exciting, experimental and creative projects. You should have experience in the creation, production and management of a broad range of modern marketing campaigns, platforms and media types.

Working with designers, developers, animators, artists and experimenters, this role will oversee the flow of projects from client briefs through to final project sign-off. We are looking for someone able to work across a range of projects, for new and existing clients, as well as on internal projects, experiments and creative outputs.

This is a client facing role and you should have a keen interest in design, development, as well as new technologies and experimentation with creative tech. An openness to learning new skills is of high importance.

Your day to day will look like this:

Attending briefing meetings with clients.
Writing clear, concise briefs for the team that meet the client’s objectives.
Producing budgets and quotes for clients, with input from the creative and development team.
Managing workflow of projects from briefing and kick-off through to delivery.
Being a consistent source of communication for clients.
Monitoring budget and delivery to ensure efficiencies - including flagging potential
overspend/need for more budget.
Managing the studio schedule to ensure the team are clear on deadlines and we have
enough resource allocated per project.
Ensuring time is properly scheduled and adhered to for internal projects and experiments.
Managing external suppliers and freelance resource.

Strategic & Operational Tasks:

Recommending and maintaining systems (e.g. for scheduling, project tracking, financials)
Developing and maintaining consistent templates across the business for briefs, client reviews, SOWs, proposals
Maintaining efficient, exciting and experimental processes throughout the business.
Improving and establishing new ways of working with clients, and ensuring clients have clarity around these.
Recommending and implementing processes to improve efficiency and profitability
Reporting on both project financials and wider studio financials
Monthly invoicing and credit control
Working with the founders to develop structure and processes around new hires
Supporting founders with general business strategy

- A creative and technical appreciation for digital, print and moving image projects.
- A want to push the way creative projects are delivered and experienced.
- A superb knowledge of project management & scheduling tools.
- Relaxed & confident in a presentation and briefing environment.
- Able to manage multiple projects and team members spread across multiple departments.
- A great knowledge of the digital projects and the marketing world.

Nice to Have

- A base understanding of modern web frameworks.
- Comfortable in the use of Adobe Creative Cloud.
- Knowledge & experience of the animation pipeline.

We are moving into our fourth year of trading and with an influx of new work we have now hit a point that we require support from a new member of the team to aid in the production and delivery of all studio projects.

We work across a variety of sectors including the arts, music festivals, new technologies and luxury restaurants- with Heston Blumenthal being one of our key accounts.
